At 0949 hrs.; the city of Burlington Fire Dept was dispatched to the 500 blk of Tower St. for report of smoke coming from the roof. First rig on scene reported smoke coming from the roof area. Command the called the Town of Burlington for a rit team. Minutes later command called for M/A which included; Rochester, tichigan & Waterford. The cause of the fire was from a person thawing out pipes in the attic using a torch. Rehab was also called due to the cold weather.
