Unhappy SC FF's son, Baby Alex passes away

    UPDATE: Tuesday, January 25, 2005
It is with deep sadness that I announce that Baby Alex passed away about 2:30 this afternoon, Tuesday, January 25th.

After long talks with the doctor and each other, Mike and Jennifer thought it would be best to stop his life support.

The doctors told them that he would not have any quality of life if they continued. This was the best thing for him and the family.

Please keep them in your prayers and know that we take comfort in the thought that he is in a better place and bouncing on the clouds with the angels.

Please post thoughts and wishes in his guestbook.

They are in need of prayers from the Firefighting family worldwide!

Not to sound like a jerk, and I hope the kid is well and everything..

But enough with the forum bumps. If there was that much interest in this, it would have many more replies that said more then just "bump".

Look at some of the LODD, or even non-LODD threads.

Okay, so I'm a little biased with what I posted..But if nobody is replying with anything but something to bump this, maybe it's time to let it die. You didn't see those other threads getting bumped, so that they would stay on top, right?

As we lose 3 brothers and another 3 struggle, another member of the family enters the world. God bless them all and please keep us informed as to the progress of the young lad!

Boy, this brings back some memories. My oldest boy was almost two months premature and spent a couple of weeks in the NICU. Hang in there little fella!

Our firehouse just went though this same sinario only weeks ago. I wish his family and him the best and hang in their little one you got so much to see.
