    Default Certs

Anyone know how long certifications are good for? I have a bunch of certs that have taken me a long time to get, however, even though I don't fight fire anymore I would like to keep them current. Cause you just never know. Thanks

Some require you have an assigment every X number of seasons.
Try and contact a local FS or BLM office.

I would think it depends on who issued the cert. I have a Wildland FFI issued by the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications, and it, like all of those that are issued by the NBFSPQ, is good for a lifetime.

I know 130 and 190 are good for life. However, these are 215 ( previouisly 205 )211-212-217-230-231-234-260-270-290-I100-I200. Like Rams said I think my best chanceas are talking to the FS or BLM. Thanks for the replies.

As far as your course completions go: they are still "good". However, if you have a red card check your positions listed. These do need currency to be valid for X number of years.
