Still beats the heck out of 8 months in a Canoe. BTW does it take longer to get TO America, than it does to get back? I noticed that to get here from Australia is uphill, while going back is downhill.

Funnily enough it's the other way around - the flight home to Oz is 70 minutes longer than coming over. Damned if I know why, must have something to do with flight paths or similar.

Aircraft flying from the east to the west have longer flight times due to having to fight winds, as the weather patterns move from west to east.

    Talking Yeah, But...................

I know, Cap, But if you look at any Globe, (Except the Boston Globe) You get the view of the world with Australia on the bottom and North America up toward the top. So Gravity should help speed the descent back down under. Right, Sir Isaac ? Sir Isaac?? Oh well, guess he's out picking apples......
