    Question Mass Area Search!

I am redoing the equiptment that my dept. uses for mass area search. I am interested in finding any suggestions on new products or ideas that other departments have used or are using for this search type. I am mainly looking for rope/ rope bags and other equiptment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Ray.

Try this. It might be a little on the expensive side, but it definitely works:

After the Worcester Cold Storage Fire that killed 6 WFD jakes, the Mass. Fire Academy and the WFD had a bunch of training that has really sort of taken off. I suggest giving them a call and they can direct you a bit on their suggested SOPs and how it is done.

I have been trhough the training a couple of times and it is extremely effective and worth the time.

    Default Large Area Search

There is a good 2 part article on www.firenuggets.com written by Rick Kalomay that may help you in what your looking for.
