    Default High PSI Lifting Bags

Does anyone have a power point for High PSI air bags that they would be willing to share?

Are you speaking of the ResQtek NT air bag systems, or simply high pressure air bags in general?

Just high PSI bags in general. We have a set of Paratech and Holmatro bags.

    Halligan84,

The principles of heavy lifting are the same regardless of who's bags you use. Most "lifting goals", I say MOST, are achieved within the first 6" of the lift. Within that range both conventional lifting bags as well as the NT lifting bags are going to be pretty equal. The "advantage" of the NT bags is that you can achieve greater lifting height, approximately 42.5", at which you can lift 86,000 lbs with three 146 ton bags.

Your problem, which becomes a mighty heavy one and alot of times complex, then becomes the dynamics of the load. By this I mean, you won't "float" the load so you'll be pivoting it thus the higher you go the further you raise your center of gravity.

In a nut shell, as you probably know, the high the center of gravity the less stable of a lift. The higher you go the more stabilization you need.

Remember: 2 safeties as well as vertical and horizontal stabilization.
