I use a Gillete M3 Power razor at home and a Gillette Mach 3 at the firehouse. I also have a Norelco electric that I use from time to time.

I use Aveeno shaving gel and follow it up with Bath and Body Works Men Face conditioner.

I just recently got the M3 Power and I have to say it's been the best so far to take care of my Italian facial hair..Used to use the Sensor Excel. Electrics work like junk Ive found

    Blade.

    Gillete Mach 3.

It pointless though. I get up and shave before my morning class, by the time my EMT-B class comes around at 6pm it looks like I did nothing.

I use the Venus razor and I gotta say I LOVE IT!!!!! Nice and close and NO nicks. I ran out of venus blades (very expensive grrrrr) and had to use a disposable, I think I almost lopped body parts off ......... I'll stick with my Venus!!!!!

Guess I'll break from the pack here...Schick Slim Twin disposables. I find the slimmer head maneuvers around the upper lip easier

On a related note, do you shave at the bathroom sink or in the shower? I've been shaving in the shower for years....lots of hot water and no cleanup, plus saves bathroom time

Same here, and I also shave my head so I go through them rather fast. $9.67 is how much the last ones I bought were, just about cheaper to get a whole new razor.

No brand loyalty for me...I use whatever twin or triple blade disposables were on sale that week.

Tried an electric a few years ago and hated it. Doesn't cut close enough and it feels like it's ripping the whiskers out.

Edge Gel, Mach 3? (Whichever one vibrates), I use the original Mach blades though, found they shave just as well as the others, and a tag cheaper. Aftershave, whatever my wife buys me.

As for shaving in the shower, THE BEST! except for the 15 minute shower and the additional water bill.

Two blades a week here, anymore more then three days on those blades and I'd be better off using my leatherman!

Ain't that the truth. If you play on eBay at all, there are people selling them in lots. Sometimes you can score a bunch for cheap. BE CAREFUL WITH WHOM YOU DO BUSINESS.

So anyway, yeah Mach3 or the M3, big fan.

I read something about pre-shave oils, so one day when I saw "Michael Jordan's pre-shave oil" at the store I picked some up. I'm a huge fan. It smells like candy canes, and really seems to make things go smoother. Throw some on before the shaving cream, works wonders.

As for shaving cream, I'm a big fan of non-aerosol stuff made by Neutrogena, "Neutrogena Men - Skin Clearing Shave Cream." HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Post shave, ehh whatever is kicking around. Usually Old Spice aftershave gel (low alcohol), or Nivea aftershave balm. Or if I'm in a particularly sadistic mood, something with lots of alcohol.

Oh yeah, sink shaver, not a shower shaver. hehe. And to think when I first started it was some boring Barbasol and a disposable!

Gilette Mach 3 sink shaver, with Edge gel. If I thought we could get away with it I would try to arrange a boycott of the industry.

But my wife wont let me.

Another Venus user here....I love having no nicks!!

Hubby uses the Schick Quatro, he just switched from the Mach 3, uses Edge gel at the sink. No aftershave...

Any hints on how I teach him to RINSE OUT the sink afterward??

We learn best by watching repetitively. Just keep rinsing out the sink until he starts doing it himself. . .
