Union Grove, WI
PI Accident


At around 0100hrs., Racine Co dispatched Union Grove Fire & Rescue to the 500 blk of 11th Ave for a report of a PI accident inside of a garage. Union Grove's 301 on scene reported a car in a garage rolled over with major damage to the car and the garage. At this time, 301 requested Flight for Life to be on stand by. After reveiwing the damage to the car; 301 wanted Flight to the scene; LZ at the High School. It took about 20-30 minutes to remove the person from the car. Extra cribbing was used to protect the garage from coming down. The patient only had major trauma to his face. The patient was air-lifted to a level 1 trauma center in Milwaukee. Rehab was not called to the scene. rig's on scene were; 333, 332, 321-LZ, 343, 324. Racine County Sheriff handled traffic and crowd control.
