Cool Anyone Need a Used Tanker ?Free??

    Hi All,

I am eliminateing a 1968 Tanker from my fleet. It is a Chevy with a straight 6 gas 5-speed split axle. It has a 2100 gal. tank with a very fixable leak in the tank. It has a regular Newton dump in the rear and it runs well. We put in a new transmission a few years back. We are a small Dept. who has been blessed with many donations from other dept. So I figured before I saw what the bone yard would give me, I would see if anyone was in need. It will be up to my board of trustees but donating this may be real possible. Of course you come and get it. AGAIN it needs work on the tank but nothing you can't do yourself and it runs well. Let me know ASAP I have to have something by the March BOT meeting.

Thanks for all you guys/gals do everyday!

BFPDB8 ... You may want to tell what part of the state you are from. It may help a department decide if they are interested in the tanker.
Thanks for giving a helping hand to a department in need.

I won't even bother. I never win a damned thing.
Had Dale Jarrett on Sunday for 200 big ones. How in the hell do you go from 1st to 30th in one lap?
Nope; I won't even try to win a free tankerd.
I have all the beer steins that I need, thank you.

    BFPDB8:
I know where Barstow is. I have been to Barstow. Members of the Mississippi Valley Firefighters Association. In fact; wasn't your chief president of the organization? We opted out some years ago to go with Western Illinois Firefighters Association. At that time, MVFA had gone really stagnant, but now they are back.

That's funny; I thought he was!
Did you see Wimmer with his impersonation as a spinning top?
And I don't suppose Johnson and Stewart will be team members any time soon, either.

Wink how did this get here

How did we go from a free tanker to talking about guys who chase their own arse's for a living. I mean round and round they go, where they stop no one knows.........Well i guess thats not true they stop right where they started in fact they keep going by it until someone realizes that they haven't gotten anywhere. What kind of sport is that anyway. Oh the thought makes me dizzy...........uhhhhhmmmmmm
    OH YEAH

DJ had the wrong gear. The car sucked all day, but got better. Don't look at it as he went from 1st to 30th, look at it as he went from 40th back to 15th. The thing was tight, tight, tight...but watch for DJ this year, he's ticked over everybody asking him about retirement b/c Martin & Wallace. Don't drive angry, Phil!

And the tanker...I would suggest www.helpingourown.org also.
