    Default Tower rescue research

I am doing research for our station for tower rescue training. I would like to build part of a tower in our new indoor training building and wanted to know if anyone has an indoor rescue tower/rappeling tower? How do you use it and how much do you train on it? What was the research you did to get prices and functionality of the tower? Any help is needed.

You can try contacting the Troy, MI fire department. They have a fire training tower built onto the corner of their firehouse. The back side of the tower is inside the building and allows them to drill in inclement weather. When we were there teaching them rope rescue it worked very well. We were able to run multiple groups at the same time, one inside and one outside. The only thing was you could only go off the top of the tower on the outside. For anything on the inside you had to go out of a window. Hope this helps you.
