    Default Interview for Iraq FF

    Greetings FF brothers and sisters,

I have my interview with a Tom from WSI on March 3rd. Can anyone give me any ideas on what to expect for the interview? Any help would be great. I already have 3 brother FF over there as we speak and look forward to joining them soon.

One other question, anyone that has kids, how did your families react to you being away. I have total support from mine, but am curiuos.

    Thanks,
    -Dave-

I have gone through the the process unfortunately, it isn't what you are expecting. Pretty much they are just confirming your resume. Asking you the following

    1. What is you family life like?

    2. Do you know what is going on in Iraq?

    3. What makes you ready to go to Iraq?

    4. How do you adapt to different leadership skills?

To be honest that is about all I remember. You shouldn't worry about the interview. What you should do is schedule a doctors appointment for two days after the interview. From my experience and from the people i have talked to if you have a interview you will be given a conditional job offer. I do have some other things that can make the process flow nice and smooth. IF you have any questions e-mail me at trsgreg@yahoo.com

My interveiw han't been scheduled yet. I just sent off my initial application. Astrid told me that my interview should be in the next week or so. I'm not sweating the job offer. I'm a Fire Meidc, FF I & II, AO, Company officer and Former FMF Corpsman. I more or less was looking for some insight for the interveiw ie; time, content and how soon an offer can come. I am hoping to deploy late Spring and I'm meeting with my Cheifs this Tues to finalize (hopefully) a 12 month leave of absense.

Good luck to all of you interveiwing.

The interview is more of a formality than anything else. At end of the interview they gave me my offer. Most of questions were covered above and they are just verifying your resume.

Make sure you keep copies of everything you send in. You will need HIV letter, shot records, copies of passport, copies of DL at each stop along the way.
