    Default Firetruck rental needed....

    Hi everyone,

Well my f/f wedding was going great until we found out the firetruck is currently out of commission being repaired. Can anyone in the local area of Orlando help? Please let me know asap as our wedding is March 20th and fast approaching. Thanks for all of your help!!!!!!!

Are you looking for a modern or an antique rig? If modern, simply contact the local municipality's FD and explain what is going on- I would find it difficult to believe if they turned a fellow firefighter's request for pictures with a rig for an hour or two. Or were you looking to ride it away from the church? This could be more difficult- Unless you used a privately owned antique rig- for this I would suggest contacting the local chapter of SPAAMFAA (the Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motorized Fire Apparatus in America) and obtain a list of local chapter members, and start contacting them. www.spaamfaa.org

When my hunny and I get hitched this coming June, (weather permitting) we plan on riding away from the church (just a few blocks till out-of-sight) on the backstep of my own 1958 FWD (with Dad driving) and also will photo the wedding party with the truck.

Try contacting E-One in Ocala, they might want the publicity.

Try the Pierce factory in Bradenton. They may help you too.

I don't think a local FD would knock a piece out of service for this function. A funeral yes!

    Try these too:
