My department applied for a fire safety house under the fire prevention grant. I have been told that these safety houses are extremely difficult to get funded. It appears that the grant award amounts have been extremely low to fire departments. Do we have any chance of getting a safety house awarded? It also seems that they are on an every 2 week award cycle with these grants. Does anyone know if this will continue and how many rounds there will be?
