    Default Duncan Fire Dept

Members of the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department watch an Allenby Road house go up in flames Sunday. The department conducted a practice burn on the house donated to the fire department by Pacific Energy for this burn and various past practices.

Hate to break it to you George, but it's NOT always about you!!!! This comment is a PLAY on the name of the town highlighted in this article. NJ merely took the name of the town DUNCAN and combined it with DONUTS (Dunk'n Donuts) since everyone else was talking about food. Where do you get that it was meant as an anti cop sentiment. You seem to be the one making everything "anti cop". Maybe you need a break, things seem to be getting under your skin quite easily.

George,we were having fun with the "Duncan BBQ". No anti-cop stuff here. It's all about the food. Lighten up George. BTW, I bet Superchef could cook a mean dinner on this!

O.K. then, Cheffie it is! It's a pleasure. I guess there's something about all this stimulating conversation on these threads that works up my appetite. Today, I'm thinking about seafood. Any ideas?

Isn't it funny how a picture of 5 FF watching a burn can lead to grilled swordfish?

Relax everyone, I do believe that is one of George's rare stabs at humour.........I know, hard to believe, but I have actually witnessed them on here a few times

George, not sure if you've ever heard of Tim Hortons down there (our version of Krispy Kreme), but they sell "Tim bits", better known as the donut holes. Around here we call them "cop kibble" Done in a very loving manner of course

Is that what Tim Horton's is? I always saw the signs on the boards at hockey games (sigh) but never knew if it was a car dealer or what.

    BTW. Thanks for the compliment.
