Default How long have you been involved in the Fire Service

I've been involved with L.L.V.F.C since 1995 when ym father joined, i hung around everytime they got a call and always helped out, I have gained alot of respect from the members there with me today.

4 years as a FF; 10 as the wife of a FF; 6 as a "honey can you help me..." Typed my Arson Investigator Father's reports through my teenage years. All bits and pieces of fringe involvement until I took the plunge.

I have no ambition in this world but one.. That is to be a Firefighter! The position in the eyes of some may appear to be a lowly one... It is a nobel calling

9 years, but I was a groupie/buff/PITA for 10 years before that. I bet Firehouse didn't have many younger subscribers than me.

Thank goodness some of those guys knew how to channel my energy and convert me into a productive member of the service. I know that if I had a kid come around the house that behaved like I did then I would find it real hard to not string him up in the hose tower.
