    Unhappy Whacker encounter

Well, I have always seen everyone making fun of whackers, and I had thought that I knew a few, but I was wrong, I met a REAL whacker at my EMT class.

First off, the kid wore 3 different pagers, a cellphone, some galls special holster with all this medical BS, a glove holder, and a portable radio; all on a duty belt with keepers! Hehe, then he goes on to try to tell me how active his fire dept. is, and how many runs they do, and how he's saved 1,333 lives, blah blah blah.

Now, last week he comes into class with this shirt on, and I nearly keeled over laughing, it had a huge picture in the back with a firefighter holding some chick, and in quotes: "I'm a volunteer, you don't have to pay me to rescue hot chicks."

WOW, , if thats not a whacker shirt, I dont know what is.

(BTW: he flunked out of the class this week, and according to the instructors, it was his 5th time around)

I thought the shirt was so damn funny. It doesnt help that he had sat in front of me too. I kept picturing him in his room, looking at the shirt, pretending that it was him saving the young girl.

    Good times, good times

Picture a wacker laying on a twin size bed with Spongebob Squarepants bed sheets with a Garfield lamp. In his hands is a 100% Cotton T-Shirt with a animated firefighter with a scantly clad woman in his hands. Below the picture is "I'm a volunteer, you don't have to pay me to rescue hot chicks." As he is rubbing his hands up and down the shirt, he is muttering to himself, "Precious".

Could this whacker be the same whacker who is boosting about his ISO rating of 3 on the other forum? Or is the fire service being flooded with whackers?

I think this guy was in one of my classes!!! Told us how he helped to hold someone's head on after it was nearly decapitated in an MVA. Was he wearin a hat with an FD patch sown on the front???

That same guy was kicked out of my EMT-B class back in '97. Must have been his first go 'round, he'd only saved 248 lives to that point. Surprized he flunked out though, he'd already done every practical "a million times, for real". Hmmm... I thought he knew it all. That's what he told me at least.

Unfortunetly, he only lasted a couple weeks, so I didnt get to see his full wardrobe, but I wouldnt put it past him.

If he speaks with a fake NY accent, and has a comment about everything, tries tooo hard to be funny, and doesnt succeed. If you spontaneously felt the need to take him by his neck , and throw him through a window, well, we are talking about the same person.

You know what's also funny? When they put antennas on their vehicle for looks and they aren't actually attached to anything. Yep, they are just there to make it LOOK like he is important enough to have 12 radios in one vehicle. This person was also known to install radios that were not actually programmed for anything or totally non-functional just so it looks like he's important enough to have another radio (still less radios than antennas though). Of course, this person claims to be the most deeply involved person in the department, blah blah blah... until you talk to someone else in the department you find out this person doesn't do crap.

I should stop now, it gets me aggrevated.

Hey stm4710, that site was great. I checked out the web site referred to in the 2nd post and that dope goes beyond whacker. In NYC we would call that criminal impersonation of a police officer. He has his occupations listed in the following order:

    E.M.T. Basic,
    Firefighter A-1,
    Massachusetts State Police Arson Squad,
Essex County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Unit

    Wow!!!

Worth a laugh but actually pretty sad.

I get the feeling that people who are real "Special Agents" wouldn't be advertising such on the internet?
