    Thumbs down Disappointed

I was all excited about the movie when it was first debuted. After seeing it, I wish I hadn't. Everyone is talking about how good the movie was, but Who wants to go watch movies about firefighters dying?? Maybe I'm not reading the movie right, but I wasn't the only one who walked out of the room with that reaction!

Maybe I didn't find anything adequate to post a reply for. Maybe you should find something else to occupy your time with instead of ****ing with people who are trying to share their opinions with others. I didn't harass anyone here, and don't expect anyone to harass me either!

Figures you have nothing else better to do with your time...you're just a kid with obviously no structured life to find ways to spend your time....how about you go do some homework and make mommy and daddy proud!

Maybe you should learn how to use the forums before you actually "share your opnion's" with others. Obviously you found something adequate enough to start a whole new thread over rather than simplying replying to the Ladder 49 thread.Wait, how do we even know your talking about Ladder 49? You never specified. Do you even know what movie you went to see? And next time you have a problem with me, address me in a PM before you make it a public issue there Jim Bob Hero.

Maybe he was talking about "Backdraft"

He said firefighters in the plural sense. He must be talking about "Backdraft".

Well, the guy did make a mistake, but I agree with him. Keepback does seem to go from post to post just trying to **** people off. Maybe its funny every now and then, but not post after post.

If your just gonna try to aggrivate people you ought to at least have the balls to leave your name, town, rank, assignment, something....

I am gonna say unless you can prove otherwise that your the wannabe.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.

"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.

Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.

I ought to have the balls? Let me tell you something about balls. The only thing that gives orders in this world is balls. You don't know me, so don't be telling me anything about balls. Let Bou or Oldtimer or Dr. Parasite say the same thing that I said, and no one thinks twice. Let me or someone else who hasnt been around that long say something, and we get our asses chewed. That being said, why in the hell would I leave my name and town on an international forum? Yea, that's real bright. Great idea Memphis. By the way? What would you do if I did, come visit me? That should be interesting.....

This sounds like it's fresh off Springer!

And I might suggest you tone it down a little KEEPBACK. The crusties you named don't go around smacking every errant post with a newspaper. An occasional comment might be made, but they are usually in response to a genuinely stupid or rude remark (or sometimes we just have bad days). The forums are here to help each other, have a little fun, and share our experiences. Not beat on our brothers.

That being said, why in the hell would I leave my name and town on an international forum?
I don't advocate putting personal details out for all to see, but if you are fair and respectable in what you say and do, you don't need to hide behind anonimity.
Never argue with an Idiot. They drag you down to their level, and then beat you with experience!

Do you really wonder why that is? The answer is not because they are older and more experienced. The answer is because they most often are serious in their posts. They give their opinion and offer their rationale as to why they feel that way. Does everyone always agree with them? No, but they are passionate in their opinions as I am sure they are about their jobs! Do they post the occasional jab here and there? Absolutely, but not post after post.

You jump from thread to thread acting mostly like a complete ***. You attempt to bust balls and mock people. I imagine this is an attempt to self elevate yourself to a level of firefighting that you will probablly never achieve.

Your right about one thing. I do not know you. But I bet that you are around 21 years old, on a slow department somewhere, hold the minimum certifications required to participate-yet somehow think you have everything all figured out. No one knows more about firefighting than you. Right?

I hope you just play this firefighting game on these forums and not on the fireground.

Would I come visit you? Hardly. That is just your juvenille take on my post.

As far as leaving my information on a natioanl board. I am proud of my department and company. I don't have to worry about posting something and someone 'coming to visit' because I generally don't try to use this forum to **** people off. If I have said something that has made you mad and you feel the need to come visit, and your mommy will let you, I encourage you to do so. We have a new training center. It sounds like some time in it would do you some good.

First off, I'd like to apologize to everyone I ****ed off. From now on, I'll try to tone it down a little and bring something constructive to the table. Memphis, I'm going to forget your last post like it never even happened. If you want to know my credentials, we can talk about it in a PM if you'd like. Mcaldwell, that was actually from Scarface . Look guys, I don't want there to be anamosity between us, so that's why I'm just going to be the bigger man, apologize, and shut up about it.
