Does anyone have a link to the Instructions for the Minitor IV. Got one from my dept without the instructions.

    Thanks ahead of time.

Don't have a link, but here it is in a nutshell...
    Left knob-volume,on/off
Right knob-A B C D-programmed for your dept..usually A-closed until tones go off and then beeps B-open channel (monitor) and beeps C-closed and vibrates with tones D-open and vibrates with tones.
Black button on the right-resets pager after tones go off (in quiet mode, it will close it back up)

Yep, it varies......... Ours are different than listed above......

A - Alert mode with beeps

B - Alert mode with Vibrate

C - Monitor mode with beeps

D - Monitor mode with vibrate

And depending on the options, it may have the "call repeat" button on top of the mode knob.

Also, some models have 2 channels, which will change your setting on the mode switch.

If your dept. has the programming software, you can change what each setting of the mode knob does. Just can't change to make it 2 channels.......

The features available in the pager are ordred based on the needs of the customer. There are regular, stored voice, single channel, two channels, etc.

The functions of the A/B/C/D knob is custom programmable by the dealer or the end user with a programming interface. There is no way one could possibly tell you what it does without looking at a print out of the programming data or asking the person who programmed it (or someone who knows anyway).

    B- Wide open
C- Elm Mott and two surrounding departements
D- Viberate for the three departments

Off- when I'm watching the offspring by my self.

    Lightbulb

Why don't you check with the local Motorola dealer???????

This would make a lot of sence. If not, turn it on and listen.
