Hybrids

Now my company, and our sister company had a training class on these new Hybrids. Now before this class, we didn't know of the battery being explosive to the heat of the engine. The class lasted about 2 hours, does anyone have any information or has anyone been on a call involved with a Hybrid?

Might explain why none of them have the "battery banks" anywhere near the engines.

I also have been teaching classes about the "Shocking Facts on Hybrids". After studing these vehicles over 4 years, I was so impressed I bought a 2005 Prius.
During my travels and scanning this forum I see there is alot of misconceptions out there and a significant number are perpetuated by dealers and Reps that don't know and are trying to push their vehicle over the competition.
I agree that one should follow the Mfg's ERG until proven otherwise.
