First department is in a town that has 8 stations, divided into 3 districts. District 1 has 3 houses, District 2 has 3 houses, and District 3 has 2 houses.

New Department is in a town that has 10 stations, divided into 4 districts. District 1 has 4 houses, District 2 has 3 houses, District 3 has 2 houses, and District 4 has one house.

    both are 100% volunteer

My Department has 2 stations. I don't know how many stations are in my province. Seeing how British Columbia is bigger geographicly then the state of Texas, I would say we have a few.

Two in township, with two more under consideration to deal with future developments.

    The county has 58.

We have 5 stations that cover about 120 square miles. I beleive the parish has 32, but thats a number that could be wrong by 2 or 3.

    56 stations. 56 engines, 27 trucks, 2 heavy rescues in 13 battalions.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.

"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.

Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.
