My Department has 2 stations. I don't know how many stations are in my province. Seeing how British Columbia is bigger geographicly then the state of Texas, I would say we have a few.

Two in township, with two more under consideration to deal with future developments.

    The county has 58.

We have 5 stations that cover about 120 square miles. I beleive the parish has 32, but thats a number that could be wrong by 2 or 3.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.

"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.

Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.

    Exclamation Firehouses in Town

In my Town we have 5 firehouses in the city. We have 3 different Sections of Town The Hilltop, East Side/North End, and West Side. There are 2 firehouse cenrtaly located in town that has an appartus in each house that rounds every box in town. Then we have the hilltop firehouse that responds to everything on the hilltop part of town. The 2 firehouse centraly located respond to the Hilltop, East Side/North End adn the West Side. We have 2 firehouses that are on the west side of town that each have one pumper. The only trucks that round the city is our Ladder Turck and our Squad Truck.
Eng # To firecom I have a 1 story wood frame structure with a man on the roof putting the fire out...
