Does anyone know if there is an NFPA standard stating the amount of LDH on an rural engine (footage)??
Also is there any reference that every interion SCBA position should have a portable radio for saftey??? I know common sense does but any "Authority"??
And to not only ask for help, on our website there are sucessful narratives for:
PPE, SCBA
Tanker
Generator and Vehicle exhaust systems

Sure hope not because I know of a lot of departments that only carry 3" as their biggest hose.Does anyone know if there is an NFPA standard stating the amount of LDH on an rural engine
There is also no "requirement" for every FF to have a radio.
** Now, seeing as the Fire Act is for departments to get Federal money for equipment they need, why would you need a standard to justify the equipment being asked for? Justify your need, not a non-existant standard.
Basic Firefighting NEEDS, not wishes.
