In a couple of weeks I'm going to test for a local dept who is using Firefighter Selection Inc as the test. Does anybody have any experience with them. Any input would be great.
Thanks

Just study the book. The test is pretty simple, as long as you've studied. I read through the book once, then typed up all the important numbers and definitions (about 6 pages typed) and I got a 94, but the test was pass/fail. As long as you know what is in the book, you'll be fine.

Go to http://www.fireprep.com They have all the information you need to know there. And go to http://www.eatstress.com for help with your interview process.

There aren't any math question's on the test. The test is strictly out of the book. Even if the book is telling you something completely off the wall, that is the answer for the test. I'm not sure how many questions are on the test. It might depend on what version you are talking about.

I had the 8th edition, it was 106 questions, no math. Even if you think you know better, answer the questions purely from what you read in the book.
