The Chicago Firefighter's Best Friend

"The Chicago Firefighterís Best Friend" will be the first book to document the role and tradition of Chicago firedogs through real life stories, history, and photography. It will appeal to firefighters, dog lovers, and Chicagoans. We hope to have over 200 pictures and at least 100 firedog narratives assessing the important role dogs have played and continue to play in Chicago firehouses. A percentage of the proceeds generated from book sales will be donated to a charitable organization which assists victims of fires.
