Default Eric Rudolph defiant at sentencing.

Eric Rudolph defiant at sentencing hearing

This is the part I like.

"this is why I was living in a trailer paying $275 a month for rent," Rudolph wrote."
I was shocked to read that someone of his ilk lived in such luxurious conditions.

I am always impressed by those who don't have a problem with others--innocents--dying in pursuit of a cause, but who will also cut a deal to spare their own lives from the Death Penalty.

Eric Rudolph is a class act from start to finish.

I just edited my post with a link that works.

Eric Rudolph pled guilty to bombing the Olympics in '96 amongst other things. His rationale is typical of wacko cowards.

From what I gathered on the news this morning, he was going to be sentenced to death, but his sentence was lessened to life in exchange for his admittance to committing the Atlanta Olympic bombings.

So let me get this straight:

    1 murder + 1 serious injury = death penalty

    (1 murder + 1 serious injury) + 1 murder + more than 100 injured = lesser sentence?!?!

    WHAT THE ****!?

While I am not a fan of abortion, I have to shake my head at these radical folks who think it is OK to kill others to try to stop abortions from being performed. Absolutely rediculous. To do it while thumping the Bible is even more ludicrous.

I can't say I support the death penalty either. How is it OK to be against abortion but in favor of the death penalty? How is it OK to be against the death penalty, but for abortion on demand?

Then again, why let this guy live in prison until he dies from natural causes or at the hands of another inmate (probably more likely for this high profile inmate.)

The ultimate judgement and penalty still awaits him.

Hopefully he gets what he deserves in prison. I read that he avoided the death penalty because he lead investigators to his cache of explosives, thereby, possibly saving several lives.
