If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?

hrfes core volunteers
There are only 4 areas with volunteers. They are Bedford, Sackville, Eastern Passage-Cow Bay and Westphal-Cole Harbour. Prior to amalgamation in 1996 these departments had composite departments, and when amalgamation happened the became part of the core service area and kept their volunteers.

I'm from the Annapolis Valley... I applied to a fire dept. last year and they lost my application so I re-applied this year in March and then last night I went up and they said I need an interview or something. Yikes.. I'm scared.

Is it a full time dept that you applied too or a volunteer??? Full time the interview would be more difficult..But nothing to really sweat over..Volunteer interviews are generally very easyLast edited by ndvfdff33; 05-03-2005 at 01:51 PM.

I can drive one but belive me you wouldn't want to learn to drive anything from me because my driving skills leave something to be desired

Also, I should have added to paris04 that my department does interviews as well, but they're more like an information session for the applicant then it is questions towards them. Most of the information is covered in your application (or it should be) other than the obvious questions that we need to ask. Nothing to be nervouse about.
We also require medicals from your family doctor as well as a criminal background check. The "good old days" are a long ways behind us now.
