    Default PT Test

Our department requires an annual physical and a physical fitness test. The PT test is a version of the CPAT - 4" hose drag, tower climb with apartment pack, hitting a hydrant and flowing water, ladder raise, fan carry and victim drag. We are timed, and are expected to improve our time each year.

We do our agility 2 times a year actually, though we only really need to pass it once a year.

We do pushups, situps, mile and 1/2 run. Bench press, Standing jump.

We also have another City test we do at least once a year and its, steptest, grip strengh, flexability test, situps, pushups, and body fat measurements.
Front line since 1983 and still going strong
