About LinkBacksHello all. I am a frequent visitor here and have just decided to officially join and start posting. I have been in the fire service for 4 years now and LOVE every minute of it. Hopefully I can learn and teach some things here. Seems like a great bunch of guys here.
Im on a combination fire department in southwest missouri just outside of springfield, in fact they're boundary is our western boundary. We cover approx. 170 miles in 3 counties. We are an active department running around 1200 calls a year. We have 6 stations, with our paid staff running out of our headquarters in the center of the district. We have 2 guys on 24/7 each shift with a shift commander mon-fri 0700-1600.
