    Default Indian Winter?

How's the weather around the state? We've had a few inches of snow here in the Toledo area which thankfully is not the 6 to 8 inches they were forecasting on Friday.

April gets my vote for worst month of the year: you just can't trust it...

I bet we have every bit of 6" on the ground here. Probably more. I just shoveled my driveway as the snow plows came by.

Not me....I figure God put it there, God can take it away

(It's supposed to be 55 degrees today so it should melt anyways.)

We had about 3 inches in Wayne County as well. From talking to others in the region, we were apparently on the edge of the worse of it which was north and west of us.

As for April... does anyone recall that it snowed on May 20th last year? I had forgotten about it until Mr. Goddard made mention of it during his weather report. I do recall working at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course sometime last May and FREEZING in the tent I was sleeping in.

Yesterday was nasty, it snowed all day, the wet snow. Real cold, only stuck to grass, cars, and roofs, and fast forward to today, its about 65 degrees. They sure are right about the weather in Ohio always changing.

Whats the latest you ever seen it snow. By far this has been it, well for me it has been.

The sun came out today and melted everything. Now it's supposed to rain all week long. Here comes the flooding again.

Yep, the snow sure sucked. Now we have rain off and on for the next few days. Hopefully decent weather after that.......

As a transplanted Buckeye, I try to keep up on with events in Ohio through the Canton Rop and the Akron Beacon Journal. I'm kind of used to weather changing in a heart beat but I have to say, your weather has been pretty lousey the past year or so.

MetalMedic, the Mr. Goddard you referred to...is that Dick Goddard?
I remember listening to him over WHBC as he reported from the Akron Canton Airport.

I got blasted at my house(Garfield Hts.) and when I got home Monday morning I measured in at 18" in both front and back yards. Where I work(Solon) just 10 miles east we had snow all day and tons of wires down/low, Trees down, on wires, on houses, on cars across roads. No sleep and ran hard for the whole 24 hour shift.
