Wondering why I didn't retire 10 years ago.
Wondering why we can't get the Middle East straightened out.
Wondering why we still use gasoline in our cars at $127.00 a gallon.
Wondering why we elected the Olsen twins as President and V.P.
Wondering why all those people didn't leave California before "The Big One"
Wondering what ever happened to Bin Laden
And, of course, having a Scotch and listening to Alvin Lee

I still hope to be on the Fire Department.
I also want to Have my own side business up and running by then.
    ATV Trail Guide
Have the House Paid off. Only 140 more monthly payments to go, though I have been paying extra most month's.
have some kids running around the house driving me nuts.
and last but not least be able to look at my wife and tell her that I love her more Today than I did yesterday. for still being by my side.

I think that would work for me.

Hopefully finally settled down with a wife and kids, still hopefully on the job, either FD or EMS. Looking forward to my midlife crisis. Gearing up to sit with Bones on the porch for when my (future, if I have one) daughter gets to "dating age".

Working in either a burn unit, trauma surgery, or emergency medicine, living in a nice place, out of debt, riding my Cannondale down some sweet single track, and laughing at my wife's quirky jokes.

Oh yeah, I'll finally have my house and it will be paid off by then too.

    I once read this:

"Daughters are punishment to their fathers for their actions as a teenager."

Basically the more of a hellian you were growing up, the more grief your daughters are going to give you while they are growing up.

Oh yeah!!! I believe it is a law in RI that when I retire, I must spend at least the winter months in Florida. I will be moving down there for good. I plan on talking my kids into looking into college there so that won't be an issue. My cousin went to college there and never came back up. He lives is Safety Harbor now. I think it is near Tampa.

Hopefully, I'll be well into a career in homeland security or disaster management, or maybe working for the Dept. of Natural Resources as a forester or conservation officer...depends on where the next two years take me...

Thats OK, just learn how to drive before you come down

Actually, Safety Harbor is accross the bay from Tampa (on my side). Its NE of Clearwater. Nice area. About 12 miles from my place
