Default Another Odd Topic: What Kind of Television Do You Have?

Sitting around bored and wondering what kind of television everyone has.

I have a JVC 27" flatscreen in my bedroom, with Phillip's surround sound hooked to it and a Sony PS2.

Also have a 27" Sony in the living room. I wish it was bigger.

A 27" HDTV in the bedroom, and a 49" in the living room area.

PS2 and Xbox to go with them, as well as a "Media Center" PC at each for DVD and audio on the home network.

We have a 26" Mitsubishi console set in the family room (bought it in 1986 and it still has a great picture and sound...it's hooked into my stereo system!), a 20" Panasoinic in the master berdroom, my son has a 16" Samsung combo tv/vcr in his room and in my computer room, I have an older Emerson 14" tv/vcr combo.

We're looking into getting a high definition set for the family room in the near future. The problem is the set I really want is $10K!

At the station, there's a 32" Sony in the kitchen, a 46" Phillips projection set in the day room, and each bunkroom has it's own tv set. Most were brought in by the firefighters when they replaced their sets at home, and are mostly Sony's, Panasonics and Zenith's.

No clue what brand it is...... it starts with an "A" and is a short name.... Some off brand. Got it from Best Buy after Thanksgiving of 2002 for like $300......... Also hooked into the Stereo....... That's the only way to go......

We used to have to turn our tv's upside down every time an American show came on, as down here in the southern hemisphere it got all messed up.

Then some bright spark suggested turning the transmitter towers upside down, so life is a heck of a lot easier now.

I can't believe I'm reading any of this! For those of you who have had trouble getting the US stations, try standing on your heads. It seems to work for Canadians! As for me I have 5 tv's in this house and I'll be damed if I can tell you what even one of them looks like. Quess I'm a bit deprived.
