Talking UPDATE: Missing FF's son found ALIVE

It is with an elated heart that I announce that Captain Tony Driscolls son Troy and his friend Josh were found alive and well today about 1630 off the coast of North Carolina. They had traveled well over 150 miles up the coast and were on their boat for a total of nearly 7 days!

They both are sunburned and have some irritated skin from the salt water but all in all they are well!

This comes after exhaustive searchs by friends and fire department brethern.

We will have more of an update in a few hours.

If you would like to leave some words of thankfulness, the family will truly appreciate it. You can go to that LINK HERE

Thanks to all of you that have sent emails. Tony is eternally grateful towards the show of brotherhood.

    God Bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tony Driscoll and his family. I don't know what else to say, I think this is every parent's worst nightmare; to have something awful happen to one of your children. I pray that they are found alive and well.

The Coast Guard has scaled down there search and Tony has been informed that it would highly improbable that Troy and Josh have survived. When we get the "official" word, I will post the information.

Thanks again to all of you that have written.

The Coast Guard has canceled their search and informed Tony that it is highly improbable that Troy survived the ordeal. The North Charleston Fire Department is very sad today.

Once again we appreciate all of the words of encouragement to Tony. IF you would like to send a note or read the latest update. You can browse these links.

Moving this back up, I think it's important that this man know that his Brother's and Sister's are thinking of him at this time. I can't imagine anything worse than what he and his family are facing right now.
