I belong to Harris Interactive polls. Fill out the surveys, get points for stuff, and sometime you even get cash (I got a check for $50 as a thank you! )

Polls here on FH can be good, bad or just downright "fugly"!

I like to fill out the surveys from ebay and tell them how much they suck. I haven't been sued, or removed yet; so I assume they don't actually read them.

I'm sick of polls from a certain person. I bet 100 of his posts are from polls!

I buy their over-priced magazine. In the time that I could be looking at the pictures in it, I post here. I'd settle for free shipping to mail them back?

Guess the Stat. of over 400 views to this thread and only 26 votes to the questions show how little people care about some of the polls.
A "Good" fire is not measured by how big it is, but by the fact that everyone is going home safe, and that we possibly learned something new about firefighting. Member:IACOJ

** But they did look at it, and chose to vote, or not to vote. Then again, it could have been 26 Users and 374 Guests....

It was in the 90's two weeks ago.. Usually in the high 60's every day for the past month. We had 3" of snow on Monday, then 2" of rain, followed by 65 degrees and a nice sunny end to the day. Today it was 68, dropped to 40 for about an hour around 2pm.. snowed; had 1/2" hail.. Then went back up into the mid 50's. Weather in the north east is all screwed up. In 93 we had four feet of snow on todays date (29th).

I have personally never done a loogy to be proud of, but my school friend a couple of years ago did one to be proud of. We were drinking from the bubblers at school, when two kids started throwing gum nuts at us. I started to walk away cause gum nuts can start to hurt, when my friend Andy hocks up a loogy and spits it upwards, defying all reason, and lands it at their feet! A one story high spit! beat that anyone!!!!
The guys throwing gum nuts were too dumbfounded to continue. And i was left there with my jaw hanging open like and idiot. Andy had to slap me to get my attention back.
"There are only two things that i know are infinite, the universe and human stupidity. And im not so sure about the former."

For all the life of me, i cant see a firefighter going to hell. At least not for very long. We would end up putting out all the fires and annoying the devil too much.
