    Default Firefighter rehab protocols

I am looking for a protocol that states when/when not a firefighter can be pulled from the line due to exhaustion, elevated pulse, b/p etc, after being checked out in rehab. We have always worked "with our best judgement", but was wondering if anyone had anything down on paper. Capt Gonzo, does MFA have any such thing that you know of?
Thanks in advance, I am also posting this in the EMS section as well.

I recently got a hold of a FEMA booklet called Emergency Incident Rehabilitation. This might help answer some of your questions. It is availible online (pdf form) and for order from their website.
