It turned out to be a regular oral board type of setup. wasnt too painful. hopefully i said some things they wanted to hear.
Too bad they dont have a webpage with more than just the one picture.

any word on how may people are goin for the positions? i know of a couple who applied but didnt get the letter for an interview. i'm thinking the list may be smaller due to the fact they wanted FF2 but you never know.

The two positions is correct but I can't confirm the number of people being interviewed.
My brother's girlfriend got an interview and she said they seemed interested in her then they asked her if she would be interested in going back to school to get her paramedic. She already is a paramedic so they said "Oh, that's good."

Here is what I have heard.
4 posistions have been reserved at the Connecticut Fire Academy. Which means that those being considered have not completed the recruit school. Additionally, it is my understanding that 20 people have been selected to go through the next phase of the interview process. None of which have been notified.
In response the the following quote:
UCONN was denied a grant for a medic program. Dont hold your breath. My brother's girlfriend got an interview and she said they seemed interested in her then they asked her if she would be interested in going back to school to get her paramedic. She already is a paramedic so they said "Oh, that's good."Last edited by TVFDT141; 06-10-2005 at 08:28 PM.

Hopefully they will notify people whether they made it to the next phase or not. I'd rather get a letter saying "sorry, we wont be offering you a job", than just kind of figuring it out after a year of no word.
