is there a reason for giving us a link to a clip of a firefighter being blown up (such as training, safety reminder, etc) or did you mean for us to be entertained? I didn't view any of them so I don't know the content any more than the description tells us. I'm a little disturbed by this....PAJ

There was a "viewer discretion" advisory. Some of these have some training value. We can "talk" about a lot of these dangers and errors, but actually seeing them will reinforce the message. The motorsports ones are always timely reminders to me since I am involved in motorsports safety. The one that is listed as a "Guy hit by a Nascar car" is NOT a NASCAR event. I would have to research it some more, but those are not race vehicles from any NASCAR series that I am familiar with. But the point is there... racing is a VERY dangerous sport... and not just for those who are in the race cars.Richard Nester

Holy crap. That SUV jumped an overpass.
The "FF Getting Blow Up" isn't really getting blown up. He escapes the boat without injury.Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

Easy there forum people , I did not mean for you to enjoy all of these some are some great videos of accidents for training or to discuss. I did not mean to type a firefighter getting blown up like to pieces he was caught in an explosion because gas fumes built up and he went to light it thats a great video to talk about for safety discussion. Some are funny because of the moronic value some people posess to do some of the things in the videos and some are some great videos to witness when circumstances come together. Watch them if you'd like I did put a warning on them. Um if this topic and videos truly bother you I'll delete the post or just don't reply check out the videos if you want and maybe discuss some if not whatever have fun and enjoy thanks. And once again sorry for bad titleing." We are not extraordinary people , we are people caught in extraordinary situations. " Chapter 1 IFSTA Manual

That SUV chase happened in the county I live in. The guy shot his wife and her friend because he was abusive and she was trying to divorce him. The two women died at the scene of the shooting. Why do I *always* have to be the calm one?
Note to self: first spell check then post.

Im glad you posted the first movie due to the fact that I have friends who think their size will keep them from being ejected beyond the seats, and its a great way to show them they are wrong. (they dont listen to me too well) Also, from what I believe, in the second video the kid the falls out was trying to hit the kids on the bike with his car door, so in my opinion, he got what he deserved. After watching those, and other videos, it still amazes me what they human body does when it is in an accident.

The first one just doesn't seem real. I mean what are the chances of having the cam in the car like that and the cam didn't cut out or get knocked around in a roll over with all of that impact.MFD Truck 2

Because that's what that camera is for. See the "drive-cam" logo in the video? The company makes dash cameras for company vehicles and such. The unit is constantly recording a loop on a DVR. When it senses an impact over a certain number of G's, it saves 30 seconds before and 30 seconds after the time of impact. They have models that show only an outside view and models that show outside and inside.

Actually, the video of the firefighter in the boat isn't anything new. It has been shown on Real TV and other shows many times.
A good example of why you don't use gasoline to start fires.

ya he is a member of the us coast guard doing training and was trying to light the boat on fire
I think he did a good job of lighting it on fire......
he was unhurt in the explosion...... you wold think of all people a firefighter would now you dont need 5 gal of gas to light a fire in a woden boat.
