    Question State/local fire prevention groups

This is going nowhere under Fire Prevention (go figure) :

Other than the Suffolk County Fire Safety Educator's Assoc., NY-SAFE, and a group in Mass., do any of you have county or statewide (or township, however your area works) organized groups? Even if they're paid, that's okay. Links appreciated.

Texas has the Texas Assoc. of Fire Educators (www.tx-tafe.org). Nothing to my knowledge in Louisiana, though I really wish it did. Vermont had a small Pub Ed Committee through the State Firefighters Assoc when I left almost 3 years ago.

    Thumbs up

Diane, Our district runs a coalition of Different Fire Departments to provide fire prevention education. No website, but would be happy to assist by answering any questions you may have.
