1600 the plaza at fire station 8. one engine out on run. sleeping firefighters sleeping in station had smoke detector waje them. fire in truck bay and smoke into station. this station was just remodeled last year. engine 8 has heavy danage as does the bay smoke through out building. 1 firefighter injuried during fire. 5 engines 1 ladder 1 rescue 3 bc. cause is stated to be short in engine 8
