    Unhappy Nashville Chief killed-Non LODD

    Nashville fire official run over while working second job

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A district fire chief in Nashville was
    run over and killed by an asphalt truck while he directed traffic
    on a second job.
    Fifty-two-year-old Willie Barnes was killed Wednesday morning at
    a site where construction crews were repaving a road.
    The driver of the truck said he did not know Barnes was behind
    him and did not see him.
    Police said no charges are anticipated.
    Barnes was a 30-year veteran of the Nashville Fire Department.
