Any Kentuckians care to comment on this? Seems to be a typically vague military public response.
Traces of deadly nerve gas leak from old weapons
Associated Press May 12, 2005
RICHMOND, Ky. - Vapour from the deadly nerve agent sarin leaked from a stockpile of old rockets at the Blue Grass Army Depot, but officials said it posed no danger to the public.
The sarin vapour did not escape the sealed container, or "igloo," where the weapons are kept. Officials filtered the air inside the igloo Tuesday before trying to enter the structure to secure the leaky rocket.
Workers discovered the leak when they tested the air inside the igloo, said Richard Sloan, public affairs officer for Blue Grass Chemical Activity, the U.S. army unit charged with monitoring and securing chemical weapons.

The Bluegrass Army Depot is sort of in limbo. Locals say it could have long since been emptied out but the government is poking along on the work, for no apparent reason.
It's a real hazard, and they need to hurry up and mitigate the damn thing before some terrorist parks a plane in it."Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.Ē
