Seeing the story about the federal tax deduction ( http://cms.firehouse.com/content/art...Id=46&id=41616 ) reminded me of the state tax deduction bill ( www.ncga.state.nc.us/gascripts/BillLookUp/BillLookUp.pl?Session=2005&Bil lID=H1114 ) that has been laying around in committee in raleigh for two years now (the preceding link is for the current bill, but it has been resubmitted from last year). Please get on the horn to your state reps and tell them to get off their duffs for something other than the lottery and tax increases.
