    Default EMT Basic Class

I looked up information on EMT Basic Classes for this summer and it said if your 17 you can take it with approval from your high school. Will this class help me in becoming a full paid fire fighter? I also plan on joining my local fire departments junior program. I will be going to my brother in laws in kansas to go on ride-alongs with him and his fire department. Am I on the right track?

    Thanks

Around here you need to have a medic card for a full time position. With a EMT-B you are right on your way though. Get all the experience you can it will do nothing but help.
