I'm trying to find out some information about SFFD. I have been a career Firefighter in Colorado for the past 12 years and now considering taking their next entry level test. Could anyone give me information about:

Pay scale- Academy time, probation, 1-5 years

Type of retirement- DC or DB- what %s, age, years, etc.

Special pay (education,holiday,work details ie.Football,baseball

games etc.)
Work schedule- How many hrs. a week, day on/off, etc.

Other benefits-

Possible negative aspects- P.S Anything about them being "old School"
is not a negative to me.
