About LinkBacksThis is the first time I seen this website, I was completely amazed at #1 how unprofessional it is; but #2 how any respectable fire department would allow it to stay posted for so long..
Remember Windham Twp., Pennsylvania?
Couple years ago, a volunteer fire dept. didn't get fire tax money from their township, the supervisors locked the firehouse; so they all quit-and took the fire trucks with them?
Well, they were replaced and denied the ability to respond shortly after ward.
The Windham Twp. Fire Company (The ones who took the trucks and ran); have created a little website about the company that replaced them (Windham Community Fire Company). It seems as though someone (maybe the webmaster) followed the Community company to the scene of a fire, and took note-and photos about their lack of training and equipment.

It would seem that the Windham Township Fire Company has a bit of a beef with the Community Company.

I remember a bit about how this started, and I'll say my standard sermon again. LOCAL POLITICIANS SHOULD HAVE NO SAY WHATSOEVER IN PUBLIC SAFETY MATTERS. I'm Also a huge opponent of the Town and Township (yeah, villages too, for you folks in Ill.) Level of Government. America can, and should, get along fine with three layers of Government. Federal, State, And County (and Parish for Dwayne) Governments can do whatever is necessary to handle the needs of the Taxpayer. The Local Yokels should be sent out to pasture.
