Washington (AP) - A family representative says it doesn't look good for
the gravely injured volunteer cop who was hit while directing traffic.

The spokesman says that, based on the information provided by doctors,
Joseph Pozell will soon be taken off life-support. Relatives - including
Pozell's 13 siblings - are flying to Washington.

Pozell was hit by a car Saturday at the busy corner of Wisconsin Avenue
and M Street in Georgetown. D.C. police say their investigation
determined Pozell stepped into traffic, and that the driver is not to

The family spokesman says Pozell's wife of nearly 30-years, Ella, knows
this is the way her husband would have wanted it.
