No I haven't. I'll add the title to my list so next time I am in the bookstore I can have a look for it. Thanks.

    Those aren't pillows!!!!!

Incidentally, I just finished reading 'not a good day to die'

Tells of a battle in northern Afganastan where special ops folks along with some conventional forces and in conjuction with the local warlords are sent to clean up some light resistance and get more than they had bargained for.... I really enjoyed it as well. Maybe not an epic like the two mentioned above, but well written... I'll grab the author's name etc when I get home.

You start a thread about "Killing Threads"?

Is that a Canadian Blue Jay?
Because the ones here in Illinois look like a blue Cardinal. That is; the feathers on the back of the head comes to a point.
Your bird either slicked his feathers down or is a different breed of blue jay.
If not, then I must be a feather brain.

Actually I dont know. I just kinda 'borrowed' it from some site, after doing a google search. They did indicate that there were a couple different sub-species, but I didn't really pay much attention. Just wanted the pic

    Default google v.

I heard on the news yesterday that google made it into the Oxford dictionary as a verb. "I googled it yesterday".

It wasn't so long ago that I was showing people "the internet" and would say things like, just type whatever you want into this thing called a "search engine" and it will show you all the information from around the world about that topic.

It always ended up into a porn demonstration with my firends...

    Sub-species? Illinois-Land of Sub-species?
Hey; I just said our blue jays looked different. Looking different doesn't make you a sub-species. Take it to a sub-forum, buddy.
You can call my golf game "sub-par" if you'd like. That would be a good thing.
    Oh, the indignation.
Come to think of it; there are a few who post in the forums that might be a "sub-species".

    Default Austin TX...

Anyone here know anything about or anyone in Austin TX?

I've got 6 weeks booked in Austin starting on the 23rd for a training course.

It would be nice to see something shiney and red while I'm there.
