But like Patty, its a 15-20 min drive to anything that's open after 9pm. Kinda sucks when a craving pops up.
fortunately for me, when the craving pops up, I am only a few minutes walk from the necessities of life!

Starbucks guys. what did you think I meant?

Well it may be a little inconvenient getting anything after 7pm, i have the best view around. Although right now we are in the clouds and i can hardly see my neighbour's house.

Yeah, that may be the problem.

But on a serious side, we got a strong weather warning and there is VERY poor visibility on the roads. It took about 15 minutes to get to the station for training today cause i had to drive that slowly.

Damn that's nice! I would trade you any day. I HATE it here. Nothing but sun, sand & girls in bikinis. I would much rather look at the mountains. I bet its really pretty in the winter.

I dont like sand, never have and never will. I dont go to the beach here, its only about 25 minutes to surfers paradise, but i hate the beach. Too much sand and salt for me. Give me a nice creek and a waterfall anyday.

Jerry, just two ? I live up in "God's Country" ( the Northland) and we have 3 almost within sight of 152 hiway. I am not sure, but the Super Target might also be 24 hour. And the Liberty store is right at 11 min from my house, after passing the one in Gladstone. And only if I want to avoid traffic near Barry Road.

I forgot about the Target and the Walmart on 72nd in Gladstone. I'm in the New Mark/Nashua area in 'God's Country'.

For those wondering, Kansas City is divided in two by the Missouri River. The area north is commonly referred to as 'God's Country'.

Dr. Woods has just stopped by and checked the pulse. I'm happy to report that, thanks to an I.V. of pureed Fig Newton, the thread is still very much alive.

    Default Fig Newtons!

I love fig newtons!!! (and oreo's)

My wife had the gall to come home with those whole grain fig newtons... awfull sawdust like rocks with a fig center.

    We've got an understanding now.

She buys only regular fig newtons, and only double stuff oreo's. And I'll continue to cut the grass and shovel the snow.

    I'm sort of hungry now.
