    "SERVITIUM NULLI SECUNDUS"

    Smart lady!

    Subject: FW: Frozen Crabs

A man boarded an airplane in St. John's with a box of frozen crabs.
A female crew member took it and promised to put it in the crew's Refrigerator, which she did.

Shortly before landing, try as she might, she couldn't remember
Who gave her the package, so she announced to the entire cabin,
"Would the gentleman who gave me the crabs in St. John's please Raise your hand?"

Not one hand went up. So she took them home and ate them herself.

    Unhappy

I wish it would rain.... It is too dry around here. All the fish around here are getting sunburned. You don't have to try hard to catch them, either. Just open up the lid on the cooler, and they jump into the ice water..

I had a wonderful supper last night at my cousin's house that didn't include Spam, Viennas, or any other kind of canned meat substance. Imagine that..

We had homemade potatoe salad, homemade baked beans with lots of hamburger meat and bell peppers, toasted and buttered bread, and, the highlight, homemade hot wings. The chicken wings were deep fried without batter, then dipped and rolled in a mixture of butter and Lousianna style hot sauce. After removing from the sauce, the wings were allowed to drip dry, leaving a bright red coating of the spicy hot treat. MMMMMM..... This was all supplemented with a tall glass of sweet tea on ice.

No spam was injured in this meal, and no viennas were exposed to the atmosphere...

Does anybody else listen to Garrison Keillor on "A Prairie Home Companion?" I love his style of story telling. I also like the radio show's style of sound effects. Sometimes the old fashioned ways are better than the new digital sound effects that we are so often blasted with today. Powder-Milk Biscuit, anyone??
I missed the show last night, but our local public radio will replay today at lunchtime. I usually listen to the show while cleaning my boat after a hard day of fishing, or on the way home from a far away fishing adventure.

Thank-you to my dad for all the ways he has influenced me, such as listening to these great shows on the radio, and taking me fishing. Happy Father's Day to every dad out there!

ullrichk, I happen to remember taking a rifle shooting class at summer camp when I was in Boy Scouts. We each had single shot .22 cal rifles that were poorly handled and maintained, but effective none the less. We would try to shoot the clothes pins off of the wires holding the target paper during our free time shooting practice. Usually it would be about 6-8 kids on the firing line shooting at once. The sound was that of pop corn popping, UNTIL, our "instructor/adult advisor" decided that he was going to have some fun. He pulled out a semi-auto .22 and proceded to blast away at an extremely fast rate until he had emptied the clip. He shot the wire down, killed a few clothes pins, and really left a bad example for us young boys. Within a year, the same fellow was arrested for placing dynamite under another persons car in an attempted murder charge. True story. I believe the fellow is still in jail to this day. Talk about a great example..

As for dangerous, try being the guy that taught us how to shoot a bow and arrow for the first time....
