Question where is the fast forward button?

Can we just fast forward to January 2009 please? I have had it with 2008.

What's wrong, Chef? Something even dark chocolate can't fix?
Have a glass of wine and some cheese with homemade bread and hopefully you'll feel better.

Maybe you should try one of those "Easy Buttons" from Staples... However, I would rather stay in the present, and still have tomorrow to look forward to.

Actually the other day I was picking up a freezer from some place just east of Frederick, MD and inside the owners car was a Staples Button that read "Bull*****"

    Yo Cheffie!

I've been to the future and, believe me, 2009 ain't no grape either!

Now 2011 is the time to be! It would probably have gone down in history as the "Year of the Party" if in 2012 the Universe hadn't collapsed on itself to form a singularity.

    Bummer, huh?

Malahat, I was actually thinking about 'grey poupon' dijon mustard. It is very tasty on vienna sausages.

I wouldn't care to skip 2008. I can get my permit in January 2009 and I am going on a vacation that I have been waiting for, for so long... :-)

Yep, Twinnings for sure. And now that its been mentioned, a cup of Earl Grey sounds wonderful. I think I'll brew up a cup or two - got home about 3 hrs ago from a day at the Academy doing Incident Sims/live fire and I am about done in. Another day of sims again tomorrow too. WWOOOOHOOOO!!!!

I've never tried Starbucks Coffee. For me, the Star-Bucks part means the price actors pay for a simple cup of joe. Give me some good old (two days minimum) truck stop pure black, somewhat burnt, and sticks to your ribs coffee.. Yeah, that's the stuff.. Takes the paint right off the fenders..

You know you're at a great truckstop restaurant when you can order a fried balogna sandwich with a slice of tomato, and a side of coffee-black, to go. Then, the waitress, a slightly portly woman with a beautiful tatoo of a faded rose showing through her cleavage, looks at you and asks, "Mayo or mustard, cutie?" Yeah, that's the best!!

Or, as Tom T. Hall said, "Fried Baloney, Eggs, and Gravy every day"........

Neither Tom nor I care for "Bologna". We're Americans, so it's properly "Baloney".

    Triton Boat Update for Hwoods:

I am still very pleased with my used Triton boat, however, I've found it somewhat difficult to find a buyer for my Tracker. The Triton, being ten years old, has given me some fits, but nothing unexpected from a used boat. I've had to replace a few livewell pumps, re-glue the transducer, (actually changed the two fishfinders with some spectacular buys from ebay.) And most recently, had to replace the onboard battery charger. The Mercury engine continues to perform well. I've managed to develope my driving skills to bring it up to a continuous 67 mph without a pronounced chine walk, but I would still like to extend my jackplate with a two inch spacer. (one of these days..) I have decided that if I ever decide to buy a new one, Triton is probably worth the investment. The boat still seems to be able to find fish, although I wish it would find bigger fish, but I think that may be operator error..
