Paul Newman... Isn't he the salad dressing guy that McDonald's used to promote??

I am humbled to see the Great Jerry Garcia finally post again in this thread of his creation. It is amazing to think of all the different people from so many different backgrounds that this thread has brought together in discussion.

What were we talking about again???

In other news, something important happened somewhere, but I don't have the details at the moment.

Fig Newton stocks must be on the rise. I think I should go buy some for a long term investment. Does anyone want a twinkie?

The Monkey named Oliver has escaped from his cage up at the Tupelo Buffalo Park again. I say let the bugger run free. He picked his lock on his cage and tried to bust out his "girlfriend" named Baby. She began to slow him down, so he ditched her. She was caught in the park. Oliver is still on the run. I am willing to bet that after a few of these 100 degree days, Oliver will be sighted somewhere near an air-conditioner or some water source. After all, we are only 17 inches below normal in rainfall during this severe drought condition.. Anybody up for some monkey hunting???

I've seen similar in a few other places. Always makes me wonder if it really is true. Although in Kiwi-land, I am sure it is a true statement. heeheheheee Things always seem to move a bit "slower" down there.
