Now that 5000 is behind us, can we go back to the normal rants about why when we post in certain threads, it seems the thread dies?

Great moments in history are defined by those who remember what happened. Jerry's start of this particular thread was one of those. The hours of pointless entertainment and seemingly endless banter of nothingness have provided me with great joy. Or confusion. I am not sure which.

    Hey Jerry

We can see the smoke in the photos, where were the mirrors????

That looks like a pretty decent car fire to need two ladders.

    In regards to the pictures,

I think your marshmallow fell off your stick. I hate it when that happens. Better luck next time.

Stay safe on that big cooking platform.

You might not be able to see it in the photo, but I'm trying to fix the marshmallow safety. It is on the far side of the platform and it's hard to get to unless you think ahead and bring along a broomstick and a piece of cheese. Luckily, these are SOP when we're cooking up a big pot!

Borden Family Resource Centre Hosts Family Fun Day
    September 19, 2009 from 11am until 3pm

    Fun for all ages!

Come out to see a live Puppet Show. (as opposed to "a "DEAD" puppet show????)

TV Puppetree will perform “Tom’s Amazing Cats”. These Cats, Tom and "guest" stars, present an "amazing" and elegant variety show filled with feline fun and magic. A live cat and dove also make appearances. This show actually adapts itself to the audience, be they preschoolers or school age or some combination. Even adults, especially cat-lovers, will enjoy the antics.

Also included in the day: CFSEME’s Kiddie Commando and the OPP’s Safety Village, live singers, crafts, teddy bear clinic, face painting, and more.

Stay tuned for more information. This promises to be an active, fun-filled day for the whole family to enjoy.

    Hope to see you there!

Held the boot yesterday and today so people could fill.

BTW, what's the official ruling to be considered a "thread killer"? Are we going to go by the new "2 month rule" in the terms of service?

My computer is slow today. I think it might have the swine flu. Instead of a virus, it just has lots of spam.

It would be to my liking if they just taught the cat to cook bacon!

My cat doesn't deal with the spatter of the grease in the skillet. I tried to get it to wear mittens, but it keeps loosing those.
